Pre-pandemic ride; Sariaya, Quezon

The fresh air in the province, the fun of traveling around on a motorcycle and the pleasure of swimming in the sea during summer.  We are temporarily unable to do this due to the impact the pandemic has on our lives. We all know that it did not turn out well for us.

One of the summer getaways I missed with my friends was our trip to Sariaya, in the province of Quezon in the Philippines.  It was one of our memorable trip and holiday because it was our first group trip.  Our team comprised eight motorcycles, the total number was eight riders and six back riders.

Provincial Vacations is a recreational activity of solo riders or groups of riders here in the country.  Enjoyment, relaxation and temporary forgetting about work stress.  due to a season like this, expect a group of riders to meet and giving peace-sign on the road. the excitement of each of us is different, from the day we plan it until the day of our trip.  Actually, we planned it several times, but it always failed, and that's the funny part of our habit that when we plan it, it's not going to happen.  The word "drawing" is the word we use or call for plans that don't go on. "It's just a drawing with no color."
So we kept working on it and continued to paint it.

The spot we chose is sariaya, quezon province.  It is located south of the Philippine National Capital Region.  It was approximately 150 kilometers from our meeting point where we took off.

Preparation
4:00 a.m, I started to gear up.  Not much sleep because of the excitement.  I mean, when you get so excited you can't sleep, trust me.  The first thing I did was to check my bike and heat it up.  My motorbike is a 125cc YTX manufactured by Yamaha and I called it Baki.  My motorbike is ideal for long trips because it is designed as a work companion here in our country.  It has a 9L tank capacity and a comfortable position while driving.  Our venue to meet up is the nearest fastfood chain that is open 24 hours.  This is to eat and sip coffee to stay awake on the road.

The route we took was the route that motorcycle riders usually take because we wanted to enjoy the view as well. The original plan of our iterinary was that we would have more stopover places to go before the resort.  It didn’t go through because we were already run out of time.  So we agreed we'd go before we went home.  We'll go through two provinces before the beach resort we're going to, those are rizal and laguna..

Total hours of rides:
It took us four hours to get there.  Around 9 o'clock we reach the seaside resort Blue Lagoon in Sariaya.  This is the resort we chose because the accommodation here is not expensive.  We contributed P800 per head, including food and room which resembled a hut where we would sleep.  We don't need to worry about cookware anymore. We chose this place for two reasons too. That is, we don't have to carry too much and don't need to rent kitchenwares because one of us, macmac, got a close relative here.

Accomodation:
We took a big hut with two bedrooms and a comfort room.
The resort owner provided us with a parking area for our motorcycles, which was right by the cabin.  It was a bit difficult when we parked here because what we came through was filled with sand.  It even happened that there was a crash, Tony with his backride, Vhon.

Sea feels and food.
The beach has fine dark sand and clear seawater, you will not hesitate to swim.  We set out in the sea as our two friends, a couple or a lover, prepared our lunch.

Open wine to share and ponder on our lives.  What added to our enjoyment was the singing with the aid of the videoke.  The air was cold as the sun set till nightfall, therefore nobody felt the spirit of wine.
The following morning we woke up, made breakfast, swam again and  Use the boat rented from the resort.  After we ate, we packed our bags and drove home.
Kamay ni hesus (Hand of Jesus)

It is located at lucban quezon.  As we were able to pass it, we chose to stop there.  The hand of Jesus is a place of pilgrimship.  A lot of people come here mostly during Lent.  There is a large statue of Jesus on top, but you need to walk up the stairs with 305 steps.  We'll take some pictures and went out for lunch.

Lucban Quezon is also famous for its delicious pancit called pancit habhab.  It is called pancit which is dipped in vinegar before eating.

We also got past the wind farm in pililia rizal.  The place is eye-catching because of the huge wind turbines that are there and the magnificent view due to its elevated location.  Windmills are great for taking pictures too.

I hope this pandemic comes to an end.  We can go back to the way things were.  And of course, we can relax or travel back where we want without thinking about a virus that can affect our health.
